How Strong is Your Core? Take the Test!

Just holding this position is an exercise in itself.
You’ll get a kick out of testing yourself with this versatile exercise sequence based on the plank position. Not only will you see if your core strength and stability is rock solid, but you can use the maneuver as a daily exercise.
The procedure is to initially perform the test and record your score (score 1 point for each of the 8 positions completed). Then include the same sequence in your daily core exercise workout. Since the test is identical to the daily exercise, you’ll witness your progress daily. You’ll see fabulous results in about two to four weeks.
Use the video below to guide you but if you need additional help, contact me and we’ll have you do it for me in the office and I’ll make the necessary corrections and modifications for you.

Pete,
Just great stuff. Excellent upgrade to the site.
This test not only tests, but also rips the core.
This is a great test but I don’t think you should shift your balance over to one side when you raise an arm or leg or arm+leg, I think the body should still be straight and evenly balanced. It definitely makes the exercise alot harder.
I think you have a valid point. Your core would get more stimulation but each has to judge their ability to maintain balance in a two or three point posture and sometimes that means shifting more than you want. Thanks.
i love it
