Here’s a great series of exercises to develop strength of the spinal erector muscles of your lower back. Be careful to not overextend and jam your low back. Modify the movements to match your ability and please check with your physician to make sure you can do this movement safely.

Dr. Pete,
I don’t know if you remember me and Jim (Jeff Mangold’s old friends). We live done by Long Beach Island now. I love getting these emails…still talk about you to my new friends (when they have problems) as the “guy who fixed me after my car accident!!” Hope you and your family are well.
Best Regards,
Janice
Hello,
I’ve read an article lately, that advocated against the superman because of too high compression forces on the facet joints. I think that Stuart McGill also mentions this in one of his books.

Although the symmetric version ist not as dangerous, they still don’t give it too much credit.
Do you have different information on this?
THX.
